Welcome Back!

Aggies, we have so much to be grateful for and look forward to this fall! Our top priority is protecting your health and safety – as well as the health and safety of your instructors and the staff who support your educational goals. Even as we continue to update our guidance and expectations to help ensure our campuses can stay open for in-person learning and student life, we are excited to welcome back our students to campus events and activities, including NM State Athletics. Your commitment to following mask-wearing, vaccination and testing guidance will help ensure an incredible fall 2021 semester.

Because COVID-19 is a disease that spreads primarily from person to person, all employees, students and visitors must take personal responsibility for their own health, protecting the health of others, and keeping the Aggie community as safe as possible from the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses.

To minimize the public health risk of COVID-19 at NMSU, students, staff, and faculty are strongly encouraged to become vaccinated as soon as possible, but no later than Sept. 30, 2021.

Get Vaccinated

We must all do our part to stay ahead of COVID-19. The Delta variant is at least two times more contagious than previous COVID variants – but our vaccines are working. You can help protect the lives of our children and our most vulnerable by getting vaccinated today. Register at vaccinenm.org.
